It's not always easy to make a beautiful bow—symmetrical, with elegant drapes, and without looking crooked. But with a simple trick (and a little practice), you'll be able to add that finishing touch to your baby's look with lots of charm 💫
✨ Step by Step: The Classic Bow
-
Start with the ribbon wrapped around your waist (or hair), with both ends at the same height.
➤ Tip: Adjust the center so it is well aligned with the middle of the dress or head. -
Cross the right end over the left and make a simple knot.
-
Make a ring (“rabbit ear”) with the end that is left underneath.
-
With the other end, go around the ring and pass it through (as if you were going to make a second knot).
- Pull both rings until they form a balanced loop. Adjust the center and ends so they are the same size.

đź’ˇ Tips
-
Always use the tape on the “right” side (it has a reverse side).
-
For waist bows: Don't tighten the initial knot too much—this will make the bow look fuller and fluffier.
-
For small bows (hair or shoes): use a firmer or structured ribbon.
